Already running BrandBrain 1.8.0 or earlier? Install v1.10.0 once from the command above or the DMG below. The update signing key changed, so those older apps cannot update themselves. Future updates resume automatically after reinstalling.
Installs the notarized app (v1.28.0, macOS 14.0+) after a Gatekeeper check, then opens it. Or download the .dmg
What the installer does
Every step, in the open.
- 01Resolve
Reads the release manifest and picks the build for this OS and CPU.
- 02Verify
Downloads the archive and checks it against the published SHA256SUMS before anything is installed.
- 03Configure
Installs Chromium for sites that need a real browser, and writes settings to a root-only file.
- 04Supervise
Registers a service (systemd, OpenRC, launchd or a Scheduled Task) that restarts on failure and drains jobs on stop.
- 05Enroll
Waits for the health check, then confirms the rig joined the fleet and is taking work.

Recorded on a fresh Debian 12 VM with the enrollment key elided; version and checksum track the current release. Read install.sh before you pipe it anywhere.

Re-run the installer. Settings and rig identity are kept; the service drains before it restarts.
